Applications Engineer

• Perform sizing, selection, and configuration of control valves, actuators, positioners, and associated automation accessories.
• Evaluate customer inquiries and requests for quotes (RFQs) to generate complete technical and commercial proposals.
• Serve as a dedicated technical sales support resource for regional sales representatives and key account clients.
• Calculate pricing based on product cost structures, manufacturing requirements, and market sourcing solutions.
• Conduct technical order acceptance, engineering verification, and complete order preparation for plant manufacturing.

• Bachelor’s degree (B.S. or B.A.) in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related technical discipline.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in control valves, automated valves, actuation systems, or flow control equipment.
• Prior experience as an Applications Engineer, Technical Inside Sales Representative, or Sales Support Engineer within flow control manufacturing or distribution.
• Proficiency with sizing/selection software configurators, ERP systems, and technical specification reviews.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% as needed for site visits and sales support.

Demonstrates expertise in control valves, actuation systems, and flow control equipment, with a strong ability to generate technical proposals and support sales efforts. Proficient in using sizing/selection software and ERP systems to ensure accurate order preparation and pricing calculations.
