Manufacturing Process Coordinator
Plans, directs, and coordinates manufacturing processes in industrial plant by performing the following duties. Develops, evaluates and improves manufacturing methods, utilizing knowledge of product design, materials and parts, fabrication processes, tooling and production equipment capabilities, assembly methods and quality control standards. Analyzes and plans work force utilization space requirements, workflow, and designs layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency. Confers with vendors to determine product specification and arrange for purchase of equipment, materials or parts.
Estimates production times, staffing requirements and related costs. Confers with management and other staff regarding manufacturing capabilities and production schedules to facilitate production processes. Applies statistical methods to estimate future manufacturing requirements.

Bachelor's degree (B.
A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
B. S. degree in Engineering with up to 2 years experience.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles and vibration.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
