Project Engineer / Estimator



We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer / Estimator to support projects from preconstruction through completion. This role bridges estimating, project management, and field operations by helping turn plans and opportunities into successful projects.

Responsibilities

+ Review plans, specifications, and contract documents

+ Perform quantity takeoffs and develop cost estimates

+ Evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricing

+ Assist with bid preparation and project handoff

+ Track project costs, quantities, schedules, and documentation

+ Support submittals, RFIs, and change orders

+ Coordinate with project managers, field teams, owners, engineers, and vendors

+ Identify risks, solve problems, and support successful project execution

Qualifications

+ Experience in civil construction, estimating, project engineering, or project management

+ Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications

+ Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills

+ Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving

+ Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction-related software

+ Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred; equivalent industry experience considered

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
