  • Implement and enforce site safety, quality control and commissioning procedures; work with safety teams to maintain compliance with local codes and company policies.
  • Serve as primary point of contact for clients, consultants and stakeholders; provide regular updates, address concerns and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Perform site supervision and periodic inspections to ensure installation meets drawings, specifications and industry standards; coordinate testing, balancing and commissioning activities.
  • Prepare and review change orders, claims and progress billings; maintain accurate project documentation, RFI logs, submittals and as-built records.
  • Mentor and develop junior project staff; foster collaboration between estimating, design, field operations and service teams to support continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Construction Management or related field preferred; technical diploma with substantial experience will be considered.
  • Minimum 5-10 years of progressive experience managing commercial MEP/HVAC construction projects; demonstrated experience across mechanical, electrical, piping and plumbing systems.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, hydronic/piping design, controls, electrical distribution and plumbing systems, plus applicable building codes and industry standards.
  • Proven project management skills including schedule and budget management, change order administration and risk mitigation; PMP or similar certification is a plus.
