ETIC is seeking a Qualified Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) Developer (QSD) or a Qualified SWPPP Practitioner (QSP) who has the ability to obtain the QSD certification within 1-2 years. This individual will provide SWPPP development and stormwater inspection services on projects throughout California. The candidate will support multiple construction projects for multiple clients throughout California.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:- Provide technical expertise for storm water services for construction projects.
- Plan, organize and administer permitting, inspection, monitoring, and data management for storm water construction projects, in accordance with federal, state and local laws, specifically the California Construction General Permit (CGP).
- Prepare SWPPP and Best Management Practices (BMP) design.
- Conduct QSD site visits and required QSP/QSD inspections in accordance with the CGP and client requests.
- Ensure timely submittal of deliverables.
- Monitor project progress and coordinate with project managers and clients to ensure corrective actions are implemented.
- QA/QC review of sample results and writing corrective action reports.
- Assist with the preparation of regulatory reports and correspondence.
- Conduct and represent ETIC at meetings with Clients.
- Perform project bid job walks and assist in the preparation of proposals and cost estimates based on job walks and plan reviews.

- 3+ years of relevant experience;
- B.S. in Environmental Science, Geology, Engineering, or related field preferred;
- Certifications:
QSD preferred; QSP with ability to obtain QSD certification within 1-2 years is acceptable. - Demonstrated commitment to safe work practices;
- Experience with developing and implementing SWPPPs under the CGP and/or Municipal stormwater permits;
- Experience on large linear projects a plus;
- Demonstrated effective oral and written communications skills;
- Sound decision making and problem-solving abilities;
- Detail oriented and strong organization skills;
- Proven ability to perform in a time sensitive environment;
- Ability to handle multiple tasks/projects at a given time and travel throughout California as needed;
- Experience with electronic reporting applications for stormwater inspection reporting preferred;
- Proficient with computer applications including Microsoft Word and Excel;
- Dependability, with the ability to work independently or in a team environment;
- Must meet company defined, pre-employment alcohol/drug screen; and
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.

The salary information shown below is a general guideline ONLY. Salaries are based on candidates' experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Salary: $85,000 to $115,000 annually DOE
