Jones Lang LaSalle Americas, Inc. is seeking an Engineering Services Specialist to support the delivery of technical and facilities services across a commercial real estate portfolio. In this role, you will coordinate preventive maintenance, support building systems operations, and help manage vendors to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable facilities. You will assist with inspections, work orders, and small projects, tracking performance and documenting compliance.

Partnering with property and project teams, you will contribute to a high-performance, client-focused environment that emphasizes integrity, innovation, sustainability, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Support daily operation of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, life safety) for commercial properties.
  • Coordinate and track preventive and corrective maintenance through CMMS or similar tools.
  • Assist with vendor and contractor oversight, scheduling, and performance verification.
  • Conduct or support facility inspections, documenting issues, risks, and follow-up actions.
  • Help ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and environmental standards and procedures.
  • Support small projects and engineering-related upgrades, coordinating with property and project teams.
  • Maintain accurate technical documentation, logs, service records, and asset information.
  • Collaborate with clients, property management, and engineering teams to meet service level expectations.
  • Monitor building performance data and support initiatives to improve reliability and efficiency.
  • Contribute to a culture of safety, continuous improvement, and client-focused service delivery.
