Customer Service Rep, Event Manager / Planner
Position Summary
The Scorekeeper & Arena Attendant position reports directly to the Hockey Program Manager. Scorekeepers operate the scoreboard, track and record goals, shots, and penalties on a score sheet, use a tablet to play music during stoppages, and assist in moving nets for ice cuts. Arena attendants monitor and assist customers, issue skates, ensure safe skating, and provide a world‑class hockey experience. This role will pay $15.00–$17.00 per hour.

Responsibilities- Use control board for scoreboard.
- Coordinate with on‑ice officials to start, operate, and record a hockey game.
- Maintain a legible, concise, and accurate score sheet.
- Provide accurate stats to league statistician.
- Check players in by number and/or name on the score sheet.
- Assist ice resurfacing team by moving nets for ice cuts.
- Inspect and evaluate the physical condition of the area.
- Interact positively with all departments: referees, players, coworkers, and guests.
- Safeguard company property, access, and assets.
- Monitor and assist skating customers.
- Serve as first point of contact in case of injury.
- Welcome customers, issue skates, advise proper fit and lacing techniques.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to skate is recommended (arena attendant shifts only).
- Self‑motivated and able to work unsupervised.
- Willing to serve as off‑ice official for hockey games.
- General knowledge of hockey.
- Sound judgment and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Proven reliability, diligence, dedication, and attention to detail.
- Ability to use a phone or tablet to play music and enter an online score sheet.
