Job DetailsCompensation: Hourly base pay range of $18 per hour, based on skills, experience, education, and location.
Work Schedule: Monday through Sunday.
Benefits: Eligible for accident insurance, critical illness insurance, hospital indemnity insurance, telemedicine benefits, and 401(k) retirement savings plan. Seasonal and temporary roles are not eligible for the above benefits.
SummaryThe Lot Attendant accurately collects and reconciles revenue and parking reports while providing courteous hospitality to all guests throughout their stay. The role includes parking and retrieving guest vehicles and upholding parking policies.
Essential Functions- Maintain a pleasant, friendly, and professional demeanor with guests, staff, and co‑workers.
- Use proper greeting etiquette, greet guests immediately, and use guests’ last names when appropriate.
- Act calmly and accurately under pressure, using proper phone etiquette, assisting with directions and inquiries, and standing while serving guests.
- Provide information about the surrounding area and main attractions, protect guest confidentiality per HIPAA, and safeguard financial and identifying information.
- Stack vehicles when necessary following Towne Park standards; secure keys for stacked vehicles; retrieve stacked vehicles promptly and drive slowly and cautiously when delivering vehicles.
- Collect and reconcile revenue accurately, issue receipts, categorize tickets for audit, complete shift reports, follow bank operating procedures, and operate equipment such as registers, gates, POS, and credit card machines.
- Gather daily event and rate information, secure keys after each interaction, maintain claim checks and guest folio archives, and produce guest vehicle inventory for billing.
- Education: High school diploma or GED.
- Required Licensure, Certification, etc.: At least 18 years old, capable of passing a criminal background check and drug screen, valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
- Work Experience: One to three months of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Knowledge: Customer service knowledge.
- Skills: Customer service experience preferred; register/computer experience preferred; ability to drive manual transmission and perform parallel parking; read and write standard English; comprehend simple instructions; write simple correspondence; present information effectively in one‑on‑one and small group settings; perform basic arithmetic with American currency, weight, volume, and distance; understand 24‑hour and military time; understand applicable rates.
- Job is routine; follows established practices and procedures; operates within departmental guidelines; decisions are made within operational instructions.
- Employee has limited control over available resources.
Work is performed outdoors for extended periods, with exposure to extreme heat and cold. The role requires frequent sitting, standing, walking, running, climbing stairs, and handling equipment. Lifting up to 100 pounds occasionally, 50 pounds frequently, or 20 pounds constantly may be required.
