Job Summary

POSITION SUMMARY

The Surveillance Operator I is accountable for protecting casino assets via CCTV.

• Ensure the safety of employees and guests and protect casino assets via CCTV.
• Observe guests and employees on casino property for criminal activity and violations of state gaming commission regulations and company policies. Report observations to company and state officials when appropriate.
• Record surveillance activity in daily log.
• Complete all required company training successfully.
• Report to work in a neat and clean uniform. Well‑groomed hair and personal hygiene are essential.
• Refrain from fraternization with employees from other departments.

• Use all equipment associated with the position, including computer, keyboard, telephone, and radio equipment.
• Work with and utilize digital recording equipment.
• Communicate effectively with all levels of team members.
• Act in ways that will surprise and delight guests and leave them with positive feelings about our property.
• Maintain a “yes we can” attitude, every guest, every time.
• Sit for extended periods in a dark, windowless environment.
• Use stairs as required.
• Work 90% sitting, 10% walking.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Operate in casino environments exposed to bright lights, noise, changing temperatures, and smoke. May include a boat, floating barge, hotel, and atrium.
• Be on time as scheduled, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Comply with our drug‑ and alcohol‑free workplace. Subject to post‑offer, for‑cause, and post‑accident drug tests.

• Basic understanding of games, manuals, policies, procedures, internal controls, and state regulations pertaining to gaming within the first 90 days of employment.
• Successful completion of Op I assessment within 180 days.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be able to obtain a valid Missouri Gaming license.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Must have no other family members employed at the Isle of Capri Casino/Hotel Boonville.
