Overview
We are UMG, the world’s leading music company, committed to artistry, innovation and entrepreneurship. 1824 is UMG’s in‑house creative solutions team focused on connecting artists and brands directly to fans through storytelling and experiences. This role supports the day‑to‑day project management for UMG artists, labels and central business units.
Responsibilities- Build and maintain a database of LA‑based lifestyle partners to source collaborative opportunities for artists.
- Coordinate and execute local fan events and experiences on and off campuses across the country.
- Handle logistics for LA‑based fan events, including venue scouting, vendor negotiation, staffing, event management and budgeting.
- Develop, write and pitch marketing plans for artists across all UMG labels.
- Mentor, train and coordinate projects with the 1824 part‑time strategic partnership student representatives (25 nationwide).
- Oversee data capture strategy and recaps for all experiential events nationwide.
- Support the NY Strategic Partnerships team with focus group and marketing strategy sessions with label partners, artist management and staff.
- Organize and log event footage into the Sony Ci asset management system.
- Address feedback to meet label and artist needs, and actively participate in team meetings, discussions and planning.
- 2+ years of experience in an agency, entertainment industry or similar setting.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with on‑site event management, especially music or entertainment events.
- High‑volume project management and team leadership experience.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to lead meetings and present marketing plans.
- Client/partner acquisition and retention experience.
- Knowledge of regional music culture and ability to market artists locally.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Salary range: $45,000 – $55,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
