Our team is looking for an experienced and motivated Customer Service Representative at Chatsworth, CA Office. The ideal candidate will oversee daily operations, coach and develop team members, ensure exceptional customer experiences, and implement strategies to improve service quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries and resolving issues.
- Be required to support customer or agency audits.
- Create and maintain a professional, friendly, courteous and helpful relationship with internal and external customers.
- Respond quickly, professionally, and accurately to all customer inquiries regarding quotes, orders, status request, complaints, product returns, and warranties.
- Utilize relationships with internal production and purchasing staff seek out answers for customers.
- Work collaboratively with the rest of the Customer Service team to manage company backlog.
- Read and review customer purchase orders and transfer details to internal sales orders in a timely manner.
- Notify the customer of any discrepancies on the purchase order after comparing to the quote.
- Review all exports for compliance in accordance with EAR and ITAR regulations.
- 3+ years of experience in customer service within the aerospace industry.
- Minimum high school diploma (bachelor's degree preferred).
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Prior experience with Airline customers and OEM's is desired.
- Ability to work independently and make good decisions with minimal direction.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Have knowledge of Aerospace industry parts sales.
- Self-motivating, Positive Attitude, Customer Oriented, Ability to perform job without direct supervision.
