Controller - CPA

International company located in West Los Angeles is looking for an Assistant Controller / Controller. While overseeing a small team, the Assistant Controller / Controller will also be responsible for the day to day accounting and finance functions of the organization. Duties for the Assistant Controller / Controller include analyzing and preparing the fiscal budget, ensuring efficient accounting policies and procedures, financial statement preparation and consolidation, account reconciliation, G/L analysis, account analysis, overseeing month / quarter/ year-end closes, financial reporting, and revenue recognition initiatives.

The Assistant Controller / Controller will lead cyclical audits, prepare regulatory & international compliance documents, collaborate with the executive team on strategic analysis, prepare tax filings, as well as partake in business operations decisions.

• CPA is required.
• Qualified candidate will have a Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
• 7+ years of accounting experience.
• At least two years of experience in a management/Controller capacity.
• Must have strong GAAP/technical accounting knowledge.
• Strong systems skills - including Excel. Net Suite is a plus.
• $140 - 150k.
