** Responsibilities:
*** Preparing complex Private Equity, Hedge Fund and/or FoF partnership tax returns
* Detailed review and analysis of Tax returns
* Performing, documenting, and summarizing research and conclusions regarding specific tax issues
* Develop, motivate, and train staff level and intern team members
* Interact directly with clients handling questions, planning, concerns, etc.
* Remain up-to-date on current tax practices and changes in tax law

* Required Qualifications:

*** Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Accounting or related field
* 3+ years of experience in business taxation working for a Big 4 or a large national, regional or local accounting firm; or equivalent in industry or with a law firm
* Must be eligible to sit for the CPA exam, CA, EA or a licensed JD
* Experience preparing and reviewing returns
* Working knowledge of tax code and technical aspects of tax preparation and compliance
* Ability to work closely with clients to answer questions or to collect necessary information for tax service requirements

* Preferred Qualifications:

*** Masters of Accounting, Masters of Taxation or MBA preferred
* Active CPA, EA, CA or JD/LLM
* Strong technical skills in accounting, tax preparation and review within the Asset Management industry
