Position and Responsibilities

Under the general direction of the Chief Accounting Officer (Business Taxes Administrator III), the General Fund Analysis and Reconciliation Administrator (Accounting Administrator (AA) II) is responsible for General Fund related analysis and reconciliation activities in the Accounting Branch. The AA II oversees CDTFA and BOE General Fund with an appropriation over $650 million and reimbursements over $225 million. The AA II manages technical staff performing financial analysis including periodic month-end and year-end closings;

ensures internal controls through reconciling the office revolving fund, accounts receivables, accounts payable, and general fund; conducts fiscal and cash flow monitoring; and other duties. The AA II oversees processing and analysis of general ledger adjustments related to expenditures, accounts receivables, abatements, reimbursements, and periodic closings processes. The AA II updates management on departmental fiscal operations, makes recommendations, and collaborates with other units in CDTFA, BOE, as well as external stakeholders such as SCO, DOF, DGS, FI$CAL, and CSA.

Working Conditions

Position may be located in a high-rise building.

Partial Telework is available.

Standard office environment.
