Cooper Douglas is partnering with a global organization in hiring their next Senior Financial Planning Analyst. This role sits at the intersection of data, operations, and real business decisions. The Senior Financial Planning Analyst requires a highly analytical person with the ability to collect, analyze and interpret quantitative data, create meaningful reports, and make sound business recommendations to management. This role will support numerous processes and initiatives in the company, inclusive of P&L, cash flow, and balance sheet aspects of long‑range planning, annual planning, forecasting, scenario analysis, monthly results, accruals, monthly business reviews, private equity board meetings and external bank and audit reviews.
Responsibilities- Build and maintain advanced financial models to support forecasting, budgeting, and scenario planning across multiple business units
- Create and maintain detailed financial reporting and analysis for assigned areas of the business to identify issues, trends, and opportunities
- Support month‑end close and forecast process, inclusive of accruals and balance sheet reconciliations
- Support long‑range planning, annual planning and monthly forecasting process and develop reporting and models based on business needs;
Enhance the company’s analytical story‑telling through volume, price, mix analysis. - Support multi‑entity, category and customer structure through partnering across the finance team to provide required analytical support
- Analyze financial results, identify key drivers of variances, and deliver actionable insights to senior leadership
- Develop and automate dashboards, reports, and KPIs to enhance visibility into performance and support data‑driven decisions
- Partner cross‑functionally with operations, sales, and accounting teams to align financial insights with business objectives
- Support executive‑level projects including board presentations, M&A evaluations, and strategic planning deliverables
- Drive process improvement by implementing scalable reporting tools and streamlining data workflows
- 2-4 years of experience in a relevant FP&A focused role
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a closely related field; MBA is a plus
- Net Suite and Power BI experience a plus!
- Experience and understanding of business intelligence reporting & visualization tools is a plus
- Must possess excellent communication and presentation skills.
This is an onsite role in Rancho Cucamonga
Compensation range $100, + bonus
