US Accounting Manager

Shift: Night Shift (6:30 PM IST/7:30 PM IST to 3:30 AM IST/4:30 AM IST)

We are seeking an experienced US Accounting Manager with strong expertise in US GAAP, audit support, financial reporting, and team leadership
. The role involves managing end-to-end accounting functions for US-based clients, ensuring compliance with US regulations, delivering accurate financials, and leading a team of accountants to achieve operational excellence.

• Manage full-cycle US accounting including bookkeeping, monthly close, trial balance, and financial statements.
• Ensure accurate revenue recognition, tax accounting
  , and compliance with US GAAP, IFRS, and state regulations
  .
• Prepare and review monthly financial reports
  , variance analysis, sales forecasting, aging reports, and MIS reports.
• Perform AP & AR reconciliations, bank reconciliations
  , and vendor/supplier management processes.

• Support internal and external audit processes by preparing schedules, documentation, and analytical reviews.
• Internal financial controls.
• Identify process gaps, financial inefficiencies, and recommend corrective actions.
• Assist in developing and implementing audit and accounting strategies
  , SOPs, and best practices.

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of 8-12 accounting professionals
  .
• Conduct regular performance reviews, quality checks, and workflow planning.
• Collaborate with US CPA teams, clients, and internal stakeholders for timely deliverables.
• Drive process improvements, standardization, and automation wherever possible.

• Ensure timely processing of payroll, bill payments, expense management, and month-end activities.
• Review reconciliation statements, margin analysis, and key supplier insights.
• Maintain high standards of accuracy, timeliness, and client satisfaction.

• 5-10+ years of experience in US Accounting.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP, SOX, internal controls, financial reporting, and audit processes
  .
• Hands-on experience with AP/AR, bank reconciliation, financial statements, budgeting & forecasting
  .
• Proven experience in leading teams and managing US client relationships.
• Ability to interpret financial data, perform risk-based analysis, and deliver insights.
• Excellent communication, analytical thinking, and stakeholder management skills.

• CPA (USA) - Pursuing or Completed (added advantage).
• CA Inter / CA-Qualified OR MBA (Finance) / PGDM (Finance).

Preference will be given to candidates with experience in:

• Quick Books, Xero, App Folio, Zoho Books, , ADP Payroll, Paychex, MS Dynamics 365, Salesforce, Net Suite, Advanced Excel (Pivot, VLOOKUP).
