The OpportunityWe're seeking a detail-oriented, analytical Accounting Manager to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of our financial records. This is a critical role supporting our rapid growth—overseeing core accounting functions, leading compliance and audit activities, and driving process improvements as we scale. You'll play a key role in safeguarding our financial foundation while helping us move at "speedboat pace." This is an opportunity to make a lasting impact in food & beverage, building the financial infrastructure for a brand that's transforming the industry.
WhatYou’ll Own
- Oversee preparation, review, and accuracy of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements—including balance sheets, P&L reports, and supporting schedules
- Lead and optimize month-end and year-end closing processes to consistently meet deadlines with high accuracy
- Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, improve documentation, and enhance controls within the close process
- Ensure compliance with GAAP (or IFRS, as applicable) across all financial reporting
- Serve as key point of contact for external auditors, supporting annual audits by preparing schedules and responding to inquiries
- Support internal control assessments and ongoing process improvements
- Establish, document, and maintain robust internal accounting policies and procedures to safeguard company assets
- Mitigate financial risk through strong controls and process discipline
- Oversee AP aging and payment schedules; periodically execute weekly payment runs as needed
- Manage AR aging and ensure promotional activity is accurately recorded
- Support deduction management and analysis to protect revenue
- Interpret complex financial data to identify trends, risks, and growth opportunities
- Translate financial insights for cross-functional teams and leadership
- Mentor and supervise team members, fostering accountability and professional growth
- Work cross-functionally to support business objectives and financial excellence
- 4-6 years progressive accounting experience (consumer goods industry strongly preferred)
- At least 2 years in a senior, lead, or supervisory capacity
- Advanced knowledge of ERP systems (SAP experience highly desired)
- Strong understanding of GAAP accounting principles and financial reporting requirements
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivots, lookups, complex formulas)
- CPA license preferred but not required
- Exceptional communication skills—ability to present technical financial insights to non-finance stakeholders and executive leadership
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (required)
- Bonus:
Spanish fluency and experience in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments
- Salary range of $90,000 - $110,000
