Business Development Analyst - Insurance; #NKA

Location: Marina One

Duration: 6 months contract

Salary: Up to $4960 + 0.5 month bonus

1) Intermediary Distribution

To facilitate the seamless execution of insurance, Investment and investment-linked operations to bridge the gap between financial intermediaries and internal departments (Underwriting, Policy services, Claims, and Investment Platform) to resolve technical hurdles and ensure FARs are serviced accurately and efficiently.

• Investment & ILP Operations:
  Monitor the execution of fund switching, top-ups, and partial withdrawals.
• Identify and resolve "failed trades" or delays by coordinating with the Investment Operations and customer service.
• Act as a point of contact for queries.
• Underwriting & Onboarding:
  Liaise with the Underwriting team to clear "Medical" or "Financial" loadings on high-sum assured cases.
• Claims & Policy Servicing:
  Manage the end-to-end escalation of death, disability, or critical illness claims.
• Coordinate with the Actuarial for special custom quotes.
• Issue Resolution & "Closing":
  Proactively identify "stuck" policies and connect the relevant department to force a decision or closure.

2) Bancassurance

To bridge the gap between bank partners and internal departments (Underwriting, Policy services) in a timely manner and ensure that Relationship Managers are serviced accurately and efficiently.

• Act as a point of contact to assist and resolve RM’s queries
• Liaise with the Underwriting and Compliance team to ensure that cases and processed and accepted in a timely manner.
• Liaise with the relevant teams to identify and resolve issues
• Proactively monitor and identify "stuck" policies and connect the relevant department to force a decision or closure.

• Minimum Diploma/Degree in any field with experience in the insurance sector
