We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Accountant to join our engineering team. This is a permanent, full-time position where you will play a critical role in our financial management, including overseeing inventory accounting, month‑end close, cost improvement, and FP&A.

Salary: $85,000 - $105,000 per year

Responsibilities

Oversee and manage the entire financial reporting process, including the month‑end close.

Handle inventory accounting, ensuring accurate valuation and timely reporting.

Develop and implement cost improvement strategies to enhance the company's profitability.

Conduct FP&A activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

Ensure compliance with all regulatory reporting requirements and accounting standards.

Assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary information and answering queries.

Collaborate with other finance team members to streamline accounting procedures and refine reporting systems.

Provide financial advice and support to colleagues and management to aid strategic decision‑making.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. An advanced degree or CPA preferred.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the engineering industry.

Prior experience in public accounting highly desirable.

Strong knowledge of financial and accounting procedures, including GAAP.

Experience with FP&A, including forecasting and budgeting.

Expertise in inventory accounting and cost improvement strategies.

Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.

Excellent analytical and numerical skills, with a high level of accuracy.

Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to communicate complex financial information clearly and concisely.
