Job DescriptionResponsible for focusing on the overall financial manufacturing operations of the organization and for developing and executing strategies that drive efficiency and profitability.
Job duties:
- Oversee the consolidation of all operations finance activities including preparation of the group budget and forecast as well as the operations manufacturing long‑range plan.
- Prepare product standards; monitor assumptions and recommend changes/updates.
- Prepare variance analysis.
- Drive continuous improvement efforts and initiate enhancements, both process and system related.
- Advise/assist manufacturing and supply chain management with budget development.
- Manage project proposal request process (Ringi) including capital justification and ROI calculation for manufacturing investments.
- Prepare financial statement variance commentaries and present to stakeholders of financial management.
- Publish internal management reporting (including regional profitability) and commentaries as required.
- Work closely with finance site leads to report out on US and Costa Rica manufacturing plants.
- Oversee inventory analysis.
- Responsible for internal management reporting.
- Comply with applicable laws and regulations, adhere to Quality Management System processes and requirements as well as demonstrate ethics and integrity in all matters and at all levels throughout the organization.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in business or finance.
- Minimum ten (10) years of relevant experience in finance or accounting.
- Minimum three (3) years of management or leadership experience.
- High level of technical knowledge including previous experience with standard cost preparation and variance analysis.
- Ability to work with managers and executives throughout the company in analyzing financial situations.
- Ability to assign/monitor work and motivate staff.
- Very strong analytical skills including Excel modeling.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient with MS Office, PCs, spreadsheet and accounting software.
- MBA or CPA.
- Experience in medical device field (including manufacturing).
- Experience as a plant controller.
- Experience in SAP and Hyperion Financial Planning.

Salary Range$148,000 - $194,000. Financial compensation packages may be higher/lower than what is listed, and will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, internal equity, skillset, knowledge, geography, education, business needs and market demand.
