Financial Analyst, Risk Manager/Analyst, Financial Compliance
Overview
Our role involves providing financial, credit, and trend analysis for the bank’s credit products and services to middle‑market and other business clients and prospects.
Responsibilities- Independently evaluate and structure lower complexity credit requests, including asset‑based lending, term loans, and commercial real‑estate loans.
- Perform independent credit analysis and risk assessment of new and existing credit requests, including preparation of financial statement analyses, third‑party reports, and property appraisals.
- Collaborate with Relationship Managers and Loan Administration to draft loan documents, obtain due diligence information, and monitor covenant compliance.
- Prepare Credit Approval Reports (CAR) for submission to Credit Administration for final decision.
- Review Letters of Interest (LOI) and ensure consistency between loan documents and CAM.
- Make joint customer calls with RM to assess client needs, business, and management team.
- Track and monitor risk ratings for borrowers per bank policies; complete Problem Loan Status Reports (PLSRs).
- Maintain compliance with all applicable regulations, policies and procedures, and complete required training courses on time.
- Follow health and safety standards, report unsafe conditions, and comply with OSHA requirements.
- Complete other duties and projects as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics or related field; work experience acceptable.
- Formal credit training and/or Intermediate/Financial Accounting levels 1 and 2; experience in cash‑flow and collateral analysis and loan structuring.
- Working knowledge of state and federal regulations applicable to banking (Regulation Z, Reg. B, FHA, HMDA, RESPA, FCRA, BSA, AML, CIP, etc.).
- Familiarity with the bank’s loan policies and standards.
- Strong computer skills – Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Advanced math skills for interest calculations, ratios, and percentages.
- Excellent organizational, time‑management, written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to make decisions with moderate impact, solve complex problems, and work with minimal supervision.

The full‑time base salary range for this position is $101,000–$160,000 per year.
