Banc of California, Inc. (NYSE: BANC) is a bank holding company headquartered in Los Angeles. The role is for a Credit Analyst who will provide financial, credit, and trend analysis for the bank’s credit products and services to middle‑market and other business clients.
Responsibilities- Provide independent financial and credit analysis for new and existing credit requests.
- Conduct annual reviews of loans and identify risk rating changes.
- Monitor credit relationships for covenant compliance, collateral monitoring, and credit deterioration.
- Prepare Credit Approval Reports (CAR) and recommend credit decisions to Credit Administration.
- Work with Loan Administration to obtain due diligence information, perform risk rating reviews, and monitor covenant compliance.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Assist with preparation of loan documents and perform basic appraisal, borrowing‑base, and collateral analysis.
- Complete Problem Loan Status Reports (PLSR) and other ad‑hoc projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 3+ years of credit or lending experience with cash‑flow, collateral analysis and loan structuring.
- Knowledge of state and federal regulations applicable to banking (Regulation Z, B, FHA, HMDA, RESPA, FCRA, BSA, PATRIOT Act, AML, CIP, RFPA, CRA).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Strong analytical, written, and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

Base salary will be determined by education, experience, training, knowledge, skills, and market data.
