Part-Time Bank Teller - Downing, MO

Position

Part‑Time Teller – Retail Department, Downing, MO. Status: PT Hourly.

• Accurately perform financial transactions and functions including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, check cashing, monetary instrument sales, and internal bank transactions.
• Balance transactions and cash daily and support bank cash level management.
• Approve transactions within assigned authority limits and adhere to operating procedures and protocols.
• Build and sustain client relationships through professional conversations, identifying key life events, and promoting bank products and services.
• Proactively refer clients to partner organizations to generate additional revenue.
• Deliver a consistently superior client experience by maintaining a welcoming, engaging, and professional environment and responding to routine client inquiries and requests.
• Comply with applicable laws and regulations, including Business Ethics and Conduct, Bank Secrecy Act, Anti‑Money Laundering, Information Security, Suspicious Activity reporting requirements, and deposit account opening procedures.
• Complete periodic compliance training and perform other duties as assigned.

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Cash handling experience preferred.
• Customer service experience.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Computer proficiency in Windows‑based systems.
• Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Capability to work with a team and aptitude for math.
• Ability to travel to Wichita, KS for required training during your first week on the job.

This position requires standing, walking, bending and squatting on a regular basis; may require stooping, kneeling, crouching or reaching with hands and arms; ability to carry, lift, move or push up to 25 pounds occasionally; must be able to talk and listen to others.

This position regularly works in an office setting with frequent computer and electronic media use.
