Location: California

Our client, an institutional investment consultant and asset manager providing advisory services to pension funds, endowments, and foundations with over $100 billion of assets, is currently accepting resumes for the position of Analyst, Treasury and Deal Operations
, to join our growing team of operations professionals focused on supporting our asset management business. The position is primarily responsible for treasury and operations management with an emphasis on deal closing, position/cash reconciliation, and break resolution for investments held by their funds.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the trade closing and post close reconciliation process. Obligations include, but are not limited to:
    • Confirm receipt and accurate application of incoming trade wires.
    • Manage complex trade workflows, such as MPA trades and associated elevations.
    • Dynamically collaborate with internal and external teams on the logistics for upcoming trades/deals.
    • Process & document trades according to internal policies and procedures.
  • Assist with daily cash reconciliations, cash rebalancing, and near-term cash projections.
  • Assist with annual audits, including the collection and organization of audit documents.
  • Assist with a varying set of ad-hoc projects; identify process bottlenecks and areas for general improvement.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree with a preferred concentration in finance, accounting or economics.
  • Excellent analytical skills with strong working knowledge of Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and highly organized with the proven ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to prioritize competing priorities with minimal supervision in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Strong written and communication skills.
  • Understanding of loan operations, cash management, and working knowledge of various alternative investments.
  • Working knowledge of Clear Par and Geneva a plus
