Job Overview

At U.S. Bank, this cross‑functional production support role provides assistance to Operations Services and enterprise‑wide teams. The position focuses on payment transactions, claim processing, data entry, archiving, research, troubleshooting, and vendor/client interactions.

• Execute routine tasks across multiple operational systems.
• Handle payment transactions and claim processing functions.
• Perform data entry, archiving, and research duties.
• Troubleshoot issues and interact with internal partners and third‑party vendors.
• Investigate exceptions, escalating problems to management as needed.
• Recommend and help implement process improvements in production.
• Support 1099‑C and CIT processes, including account and payment research, account coding, inbound call duties, and 1099‑C issuance.
• Stand or sit for extended periods and move trays and carts of work.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Four to five years or more of operations services–related work experience.

• Knowledge of products, services, terminology, procedures, and systems related to assigned area, and applicable laws and regulatory requirements.
• Demonstrated commitment to high‑quality customer service.
• Strong time‑management and production‑execution skills in a fast‑paced environment.
• Good understanding of internal policies and procedures within Operations Services and the enterprise.
• Strong PC skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication.

• May involve lifting trays of work, pushing carts, standing or sitting for extended periods, and repetitive motions.
• Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve exceptions via data interpretation.
