Under the close supervision of the Housing Finance Officer (Single Family), the Housing Finance Trainee (General) performs a variety of technical and analytical duties related to providing customer service to CalHFA’s approved lender network, industry partners, and borrowers. The role supports the day‑to‑day operations of the Lender Services Team.
Qualifications- Good customer service skills
- Ability to stay organized and manage multiple tasks with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as a team member
- Good written and verbal communication skills
Required Eligibility
:
Only candidates who have already passed the Housing Finance Trainee (General) exam will be considered.
Hybrid telework schedules are available, based on operational needs. In‑person attendance will be required weekly.
Office location: 500 Capitol Mall, Sacramento, CA 95814. Free access to the on‑site gym is available.
Minimum Requirements- HOUSING FINANCE TRAINEE (GENERAL) – classification salary range as listed above
- Experience:
Six months of experience within the California Housing Finance Agency performing housing finance–related duties at a level of responsibility not less than that of a Management Services Technician (Range B), or equivalent educational and professional experience as described in the detailed qualifications.
