The Senior Finance Business Partner serves as a strategic advisor to the Bridgeton Operations team and supports the broader Injectables business unit. This role provides financial leadership, analytical depth, and strong cross‑functional partnership to Bridgeton Site Operations and Development Analytical teams across multiple locations.

The ideal candidate is an experienced finance professional who can influence senior leaders, support complex development and tech transfer programs, and guide financial performance in a fast‑paced and high‑visibility environment. The role includes responsibility over budgeting, forecasting, and month‑end close while supported by strong governance and clear financial insight.

Key Responsibilities Strategic Partnership & Decision Support

Partner primarily with the Bridgeton site leadership to deliver financial guidance, operational insights, and practical decision support aligned with site and business unit priorities.

Build strong working relationships across operations, development, supply chain, engineering, and project management teams.

Serve as a key contributor to long‑term planning and investment discussions for the Bridgeton site and Development Analytical Services.

Lead the annual budget and quarterly forecasts for assigned business areas.

Execute monthly close activities, including variance analysis, reporting, and communication of key drivers to senior leadership.

Develop and maintain financial models that support scenario planning, project profitability, and investment evaluations.

Support development and tech transfer programs by providing project financials, resource planning, and risk evaluation.

Apply ASC 606 principles to complex development and tech transfer contracts to ensure accurate revenue recognition and financial compliance.

Review and interpret contract terms, deliverables, and milestones to assess financial implications and provide guidance to business partners.

Operations & Costing

Maintain and analyze standard cost structures, collaborating with operations and supply chain to ensure accuracy, transparency, and alignment with operational performance.

Utilize ERP systems to support costing, reporting, and process improvements.

Capital Project Tracking

Track, analyze, and report on growth capital projects across the Bridgeton site.

Partner closely with engineering, operations, and project management to assess capital requests, validate business cases, and ensure spend aligns with approved budgets.

Provide ongoing financial updates throughout the project lifecycle and support post‑completion reviews to measure return on investment.

Leadership

Demonstrate leadership through influence by guiding decisions, enhancing financial understanding, and promoting accountability across the organization.

Model a culture of transparency, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in FP&A, cost accounting, or operational finance within manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, CDMO, or other complex manufacturing/contract‑manufacturing environment.
  • Proven ability to influence senior leaders and drive outcomes as an individual contributor.
  • Exposure to revenue recognition concepts (ASC 606), contract structures, and milestone‑based revenue recognition.
  • Experience supporting project‑based work, including development programs and tech transfers.
  • Proficiency in standard costing, cost accounting principles, and operations‑focused financial analysis.
  • Advanced financial modeling skills with the ability to translate complex information into actionable insights.
  • Experience with ERP systems; D365 exposure preferred.
  • Strong communication and relationship‑building skills with the ability to influence effectively across operations, supply chain, project management, and development teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, high‑visibility environment with a high degree of ownership and autonomy.
