Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide support for day‑to‑day operational/client service activities, monitoring daily receivables, journal posting, cash reconciliation, and fund position tracking.
- Collaborate with management and technical staff to identify business solutions for changes to processes, policies, and systems.
- Resolve complex issues for high‑profile clients and deal structures.
- Support institutional/corporate trust accounts: billing for administrative fees, recommending fee increases, facilitating transaction closing, handling cash and investment transactions, monitoring cash activities, ensuring compliance items, providing debt service calculations, and executing payment generation and follow‑up.
- Accurately set up or delegate issues on all systems, prepare accounts for compliance review, and respond to compliance exceptions.
- Review deal documents with Relationship Managers to ensure operational mechanics are appropriate.
- Assist the operational group in ensuring cash processing and procedures fit within new products being onboarded.
- Develop and lead trainings related to Corporate Trust products and services.
- Act as subject‑matter expert for ongoing projects and system testing.
- Participate in cross‑training to learn other Corporate Trust roles and provide support as needed.
- Provide indirect management of junior fund accountants.
- Work with the business solutions team to document business requirements for system and process improvement.
- Organize and oversee team testing methodology for test scripts, ensuring full‑cycle testing (unit, integration, system, and QA).
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Minimum
- Deep understanding of corporate bank loans and experience with various structures of bank debt including CLOs, interval funds, ABLs, and private debt.
- Full trade cycle knowledge: settlements, closings, loan administration, and loan agency.
- Strong client‑relationship‑management skills and ability to provide a positive client experience through associate engagement, technology, workflows, and processing.
- Capability to manage multiple projects and timelines.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
- Strong operational knowledge of Corporate Trust processes and procedures.
- Preferred
- Advanced MS Excel skills.
- Fundamental understanding of credit products and markets.
- Strong data reconciliation skills.
- Minimum
:
Bachelor's degree with a finance focus (business administration, finance) or equivalent work experience; 6+ years in the broadly syndicated and/or private credit loan market, or equivalent experience. - Preferred
:
Certified Corporate Trust Specialist (CCTS) or Corporate Trust Master Certification (CTMC).
Typical office environment; no direct management accountabilities.
CompensationU.S. employees in California, Washington DC, New Jersey, and New York: $69,920–$109,460 annually.
U.S. employees in Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Illinois, Massachusetts, Maryland, Minnesota, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Texas, Washington, and Wisconsin: $63,830–$100,210 annually.
U.S. employees in all other states: $57,760–$90,960 annually.
