Role Overview
As a Treasury Advisor, you will partner with senior sales professionals to deliver treasury solutions to BMO U.S. Commercial Bank TPS clients and prospects. The role combines client engagement, solution design, and collaboration with internal teams to drive growth and enhance client experience.
Key Responsibilities- Support development and presentation of treasury solutions for TPS clients.
- Assist with proposals, pricing, and pipeline management.
- Analyze financial, company, and industry data to determine client needs and structure the bank’s treasury products and services.
- Collaborate with Service and Onboarding teams to ensure smooth client implementation and service resolution.
- Maintain accurate records and reporting on Salesforce and align with Treasury Consultants.
- Attend industry forums and community events to enhance the bank’s brand and stay updated on market trends.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, internal controls, and compliance to mitigate risk.
- Manage client inquiries related to product offerings, pricing, and implementation, providing timely and clear communication.
- Drive acquisition strategies and build long‑term relationships with high‑value and strategic clients.
- Implement escalation procedures for compliance risks and resolve document exceptions and discrepancies.
- Support implementation activities, including documentation, pricing, and project timelines, to deliver on time and improve processes.
- Provide guidance on treasury management solutions to optimize cash flow and liquidity.
- Bachelor’s degree required;
Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting preferred. - 4–6 years of experience in banking, fintech, corporate treasury, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills; proficiency with Excel and reporting tools.
- Advanced knowledge of treasury products such as liquidity management and payment solutions.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and consultative sales skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and develop client‑focused solution strategies.
- Experience with regulatory compliance, risk management, and internal controls.
Salary range: $63,300.00 – $ annually (salaried). Commission structure may apply and varies by location and performance. BMO offers health insurance, tuition reimbursement, accident and life insurance, retirement savings plans, and additional incentives such as discretionary bonuses.
