Hours:
9 AM - 6 PM; NO REMOTE POSITION AVAILABLE
Currently looking for an experienced Mortgage Loan Underwriter. Interested candidates must have at least 3 - 5 years' experience as a Mortgage Loan Underwriter.
Responsibilities of the Mortgage Loan UnderwriterWill be expected to perform the following job duties:
- Underwrite conventional loans within the company and investors' guidelines.
- Monitor updated guidelines and compliance issues.
- Review and update information on LOS to verify, add, delete, or waive conditions.
- Contact Account Executives and/or Loan Officers with the underwriting decisions or problems.
- Coordinate with Account Coordinators to ensure smooth flow of transactions.
- Provide reports and feedback to other staff and underwriting team.
- Support remote underwriters by reviewing and clearing conditions, and coordinating to move files to Clear to Close when necessary.
- Must have at least 3 - 5 years experience as a Mortgage Loan Underwriter
- Demonstrated positive attitude, reliability, a self-starter who assumes responsibility when warranted, professional in manner, and hard working.
- Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Mortgage Underwriting: 3 years (Preferred)
