Sr. Analyst, FP&A - Supply Chain & Merchandising

Senior Analyst, FP&A – Merchandising / Supply Chain / Operations role supporting planning, forecasting, performance analysis and financial discipline across product and operations teams.
Key ResponsibilitiesGross Margin:
- Partner closely with product teams (merchandising, planning, supply chain) to analyze AUR, AUC, IMU, markdown, and margin drivers across categories, styles, and sales channels
- Identify and communicate margin risks and opportunities driven by pricing, discounts, cost changes, and mix, translating insights into clear business implications
- Support scenario modeling related to sourcing decisions, vendor negotiations, and cost optimization initiatives
Inventory & Working Capital:
- Partner with Supply Chain and Planning to forecast and monitor inventory investment, unit economics, and working capital
- Develop clear reporting and insights on inventory health
Operations:
- Support ongoing forecasting, budgeting and variance analysis for operational spend including distribution, fulfillment and labor expenses
- Identify root causes of variances and recommend corrective actions in partnership with Operations team
- Translate complex operational data into clear, decision‑ready insights for leadership
Core FP&A Responsibilities:
- Partner with Accounting on actual close processes and provide P&L variance analysis and commentary
- Continuously seek ways to improve overall financial insights and analytics by monitoring variances, identifying trends, and surfacing risks and opportunities
- A minimum of 4 years relevant experience operating in a highly analytical FP&A role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; comfort with advanced modeling.
- Experience in consumer, apparel or supply‑chain‑heavy environments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
- Experience in investment banking, management consulting, Big 4 accounting, or a high growth direct‑to‑consumer business, with a track record of high accuracy in a fast‑paced environment.
- Familiarity with financial planning systems and ERP tools (Workday Adaptive, Net Suite).
- Experience working with large datasets; proficiency with BI tools such as Looker strongly preferred.
Base salary range: $95,000 - $125,000 + 5% bonus eligibility. This role may also be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on company performance, department goals, and individual contributions.
