Position: VP Finance (Head of Finance)

Salary: $180,000–$210,000 + 25% bonus

Responsibilities
  • Lead all aspects of the Finance organization, including accounting, treasury, tax, compliance, credit, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash management.
  • Serve as the senior finance leader and strategic business partner to the CEO and Executive Leadership Team, providing financial guidance to support company growth and long-term objectives.
  • Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting, ensuring compliance with GAAP and the timely delivery of accurate financial statements and analysis.
  • Develop, implement, and strengthen financial policies, procedures, internal controls, and reporting processes to support operational excellence.
  • Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes while providing insights into business performance, cost management, and profitability.
  • Oversee the company's credit function, customer credit policies, banking relationships, cash flow, and financing activities.
  • Coordinate external audits, tax planning, and compliance activities while maintaining strong relationships with banking partners, auditors, and financial advisors.
  • Mentor, develop, and lead a high-performing finance team while fostering collaboration across departments.
  • Partner with executive leadership to evaluate strategic initiatives, business plans, investments, and operational improvements.
  • Drive continuous process improvements, financial system enhancements, and operational efficiencies across the organization.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • CPA or CMA designation required.
  • 7+ years of progressive financial leadership experience with responsibility for accounting, financial planning, and strategic finance.
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge with expertise in GAAP, financial reporting, internal controls, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Proven ability to balance strategic leadership with a hands-on approach in a lean organizational structure.
  • Experience managing banking relationships, treasury functions, credit operations, and external audits.
  • ERP experience required;
    Epicor experience is a plus.
  • Strong executive presence with exceptional communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional teams, drive process improvements, and support business growth.
  • High ethical standards, sound judgment, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative, family‑oriented culture.
