Senior Private Wealth Advisor, Practice Lead (Personal Strategy)
Position is located in the Bakersfield and/or Fresno area. The role requires in‑person client meetings and travel as needed.
OverviewThe Senior Private Wealth Advisor, Practice Lead (Personal Strategy) is responsible for retaining and growing net assets by building lasting relationships with high‑net‑worth clients, delivering tailored financial advice, and leading a dedicated client practice team.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as lead advisor within a client team, collaborating with a Wealth Advisor and Client Experience Specialist.
- Provide first‑class client experience through onboarding, financial planning, and investor education.
- Maintain strong client relationships via phone, email, virtual, and face‑to‑face meetings.
- Retain assets under management and drive additional assets through proactive communication and portfolio education.
- Act as liaison between clients and internal teams such as Personal Wealth and EPW.
- Explain and recommend the ‘Personal Strategy’ investment strategy, reviewing risk tolerance and financial objectives.
- Provide holistic financial planning on retirement, income optimization, tax‑advantaged savings, and education planning.
- Coordinate with Financial Planning Specialists and other stakeholders for complex client needs.
- Delegate, coach, and train colleagues and resources.
- Travel as required to meet clients face‑to‑face.
- 10+ years of experience in financial services with a strong focus on client experience.
- Experience with high‑net‑worth clients, complex planning, NPS, and client retention.
- Advanced knowledge of wealth‑management strategies, financial planning, tax and income optimization, and estate planning.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; detail‑oriented; able to manage multiple time‑sensitive tasks.
- Pro‑active self‑starter with strong situational awareness, contextual thinking, organization, and presentation skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- FINRA Series
65 and fingerprinting required. - CFP credential strongly preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a client‑focused environment.
Base salary range: $ – $. Eligible for a bonus program with the potential for significant upside.
