Senior Private Wealth Advisor, Practice Lead (Personal Strategy)

As a Senior Private Wealth Advisor, you will serve as the lead advisor in a dedicated client practice team, ensuring a first‑class client experience and helping high‑net‑worth clients achieve long‑term financial success.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the lead advisor within a dedicated client team, collaborating with a Wealth Advisor and Client Experience Specialist to build lasting relationships with a book of high‑net‑worth Empower clients.
  • Provide a first‑in‑class client experience covering onboarding, financial planning, and investor education.
  • Collaborate with advisory team resources to grow and maintain strong long‑term relationships with highly valued clients.
  • Conduct comprehensive relationship management via phone, email, and virtual meetings, proactively engaging with clients.
  • Retain assets under management and acquire additional assets through diligent communication, education, and responsiveness.
  • Act as liaison between clients and various internal groups/departments within Empower Personal Wealth.
  • Explain the Personal Strategy investment strategy and recommend, implement, and review investment strategies aligned with clients’ risk tolerance and financial objectives.
  • Provide holistic financial planning on retirement, income optimization, tax‑advantaged savings, and education planning, collaborating with Financial Planning Specialists where needed.
  • Coordinate with advisory team and EPW stakeholders for client‑related requests.
  • Delegate, coach, train, and develop colleagues and resources as needed.
  • Travel to meet clients face‑to‑face and build strong relationships.
Qualifications
  • 10+ years of related work experience in financial services and client experience.
  • Demonstrated success with high‑net‑worth clients, complex planning, NPS, and client retention.
  • Direct client contact experience with a professional, knowledgeable demeanor.
  • Advanced knowledge of wealth management strategies, financial planning, tax and income optimization, and estate planning.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills; detail oriented, proactive self‑starter.
  • Ability to manage multiple time‑sensitive tasks simultaneously, with strong situational awareness and organizational skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • FINRA Series 65 mandatory and FINRA fingerprinting required.
  • CFP preferred.
