Responsibilities
- Reviews, investigates and actions potential fraud cases and alerts to mitigate loss.
- Monitors and arranges for recovery of losses incurred by fraudulent activities.
- Take-action on questionable accounts by restricting, closing, or rejecting the opening of new accounts.
- Assists account holders who are victims of fraudulent activity.
- Maintain a working knowledge of fraud prevention guidelines and techniques.
- Communicate via phone, email and/or letters with other bank employees, account holders, and financial institutions.
- Escalates questionable activity via submission of Questionable Activity Report.
- Verifies adherence to Bank policies, operating procedures and processes.
- 4+ years’ banking experience in a retail or operational environment.
- Knowledge in banking products and services.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
