Job Description2 Openings — 1 Full Time, 1 Part Time
- Client Relationship Consultants build relationships with customers, engaging them in person, by appointment, and virtually to provide tailored advice while promoting digital solutions.
- Establish and nurture client relationships through proactive outreach, asking questions, and understanding financial needs and channel preferences.
- Identify solutions for new and existing clients by engaging effectively with clients and knowing the bank’s consumer and business products and services, including digital options.
- Provide a consistent, optimal client experience, including greeting clients and processing basic transactions; develop partnerships with branch teams to best serve clients.
- Open new consumer and business accounts, complete service requests, and submit credit applications; educate clients on digital products and self-service tools.
- Leverage resources and technologies to optimize the client experience with operational excellence and accuracy.
- This position requires National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration under the SAFE Act of 2008 and Regulation Z, including a criminal background and credit check. Failure to meet any NMLS requirements may result in rescission of an offer or termination of employment.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Typically has a minimum of three to four years of job-related retail banking experience or a combination of experience and commensurate training
- Proven ability to build and foster relationships with clients through proactive outreach
- Ability to effectively engage and communicate with clients
- Thorough knowledge of applicable bank and branch policies, procedures and support systems
- Proven customer service and interpersonal skills
- Experience with using and demonstrating digital products and self-service technologies
- Ability to identify a customer’s true needs while leveraging a digital-first mindset
- Demonstrated basic proficiency in making appropriate recommendations that meet customer needs reactively and proactively
- Experience in the financial services industry is preferred

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on location. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase, 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits subject to eligibility). Pay Range: $20.25 - 24.75
