Tax Manager – Federal Mergers and Acquisitions, Financial Instruments

Job Responsibilities

• Work as a part of a multi-disciplinary team that focuses on delivering due diligence and tax structuring services
• Identify and develop high value tax opportunities for clients
• Assist clients on a range of financial instrument and related M&A tax issues
• Planning, managing and executing on advice engagements with limited supervision
• Develop, motivate, and train team members

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field from an accredited university
• an active CPA license in the state of residence or primary office; an active Enrolled Agent (EA) license; or an active Attorney license
• Minimum of six years of tax experience in public accounting
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Ability to meet client service, quality, and performance expectations within applicable deadlines
• Ability to communicate clearly, professionally, and effectively
• Effective project management skills
• Ability to work effectively in a professional office environment
• Ability to maintain a consistent onsite presence during core business hours
• Ability to work extended and/or non-standard hours during peak periods or as necessary
