Job Description- Build client relationships and provide counsel across multiple channels (in-person, by appointment, virtual) while adopting a digital‑first mindset.
- Build and foster relationships through proactive outreach and follow‑up, asking questions to understand financial needs and banking channel preferences.
- Identify solutions for new and existing clients by effectively engaging and communicating with them.
- Maintain a working knowledge of consumer and business banking products, including digital offerings, and educate clients on available deposit, loan and service products.
- Provide a consistent optimal client experience, including greeting clients and processing basic transactions.
- Develop collaborative partnerships with branch team members and partners to best serve clients.
- Open new consumer and business accounts, complete service requests, and submit credit applications as needed.
- Proactively educate clients on emerging and self‑service digital products and services to meet their financial needs.
- Leverage available resources and technologies to optimize client experience and deliver operational excellence and accuracy.
- Maintain National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration under the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and RegulationZ, including mandatory criminal background and credit checks. Failure to maintain mandatory registration may result in rescission of offer or termination.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of three to four years of job‑related retail banking experience, or a combination of experience and obligate training.
- Proven ability to build and foster client relationships through proactive outreach and follow‑up.
- Effective engagement and communication skills with clients.
- Thorough knowledge of bank and branch policies, procedures, and support systems.
- Strong customer‑service and interpersonal skills.
- Experience using and demonstrating digital products and self‑service technologies.
- Ability to explore and identify customers’ true needs while applying a digital‑first mindset.
- Basic proficiency in making appropriate recommendations that meet client needs proactively and reactively.
- Experience in the financial services industry (preferred).
