A well-established regional bank in San Diego County is seeking a Commercial Banking Associate / Assistant to support a team of Relationship Managers while serving as a key point of contact for commercial clients. As a Commercial Banking Associate, you'll play a critical role in supporting both clients and Relationship Managers by ensuring a seamless banking experience and helping maintain strong client relationships.

• Supporting Commercial Relationship Managers with day-to-day client needs
• Opening new business accounts and processing account maintenance requests
• Coordinating client onboarding and documentation
• Assisting with treasury management products and service implementation
• Preparing and coordinating loan documentation and loan boarding activities
• Processing wire requests and other client service transactions
• Serving as a primary point of contact for client inquiries and issue resolution
• Coordinating with operations, lending, compliance, and back-office teams
• Maintaining accurate records and compliance documentation
  
  Supporting overall branch and department operations

Preferred qualifications include:

• Experience supporting commercial banking clients
• Knowledge of commercial account opening and maintenance
• Treasury management experience or exposure
• Familiarity with loan documentation and loan operations
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy
• Professional presence and commitment to client service
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities

Target compensation: $60,000 – $80,000+ annually, depending on experience.
