What's the VIE Forvia Program all about?

The VIE Program of Forvia is an international young graduate program, which enables young graduates native from the European Economic Area (EU + Norway, Liechtenstein and Iceland) aged between 18 and 28 to work for one of our subsidiary around the world!

Through our Finance Rotational Program (VIE), we are investing in the development of our future Finance Business Partner leaders. Over two years, you will gain hands-on experience in two key finance functions at the heart of our manufacturing business: one year in Plant Controlling and one year in Program or R&D Controlling for our Faurecia Clean Mobility activity. Supported by a dedicated sponsor throughout your journey, you will build strong business acumen, expand your network, and develop the skills needed to become a trusted business partner and future finance leader.

The first year will be located in Dexter, MO. The second year can be anywhere Clean Mobility is located.

What is your role and surroundings?

Our Faurecia FCM Business Group is looking for you as an Assistant Plant Controller VIE for our site in Dexter, USA.

What will be your main missions?

The VIE Finance Assistant Plant Controller is involved in the controlling of a plant in order to guarantee and optimise the plant's financial performance and competitiveness.

The Main Missions Of

The Role Are To

• Ensure compliance to all financial procedures
• Develop, execute and control internal finance procedures including spending authorization in accordance with company procedures and policies
• Ensure site activities are compliant with Faurecia finance related procedures (product flow, inventory, routings, …)and internal control basics
• Provide reliable financial / controlling informations
• Participate in financial forecasting processes, providing data for budget, periodic forecast, …
• Collect and manage data consolidation and reporting, ensuring reliability, consistency, transparency and delay compliance,
• Update informations into the ERP System,
• Ensure reliability of standard costing,
• Contribute to controlling analysis including variance analysis/standard costs, margin/programs, plant budgetary control …,
• Collaborate with Shared Service Center obtaining/providing proper finance information,
• Contribute to the control and management of the plant’s operating cashflow (capex, inventories,overdues).
• Supporting finance & Plant team with a range of administrative and financial tasks.

• Master’s degree in Finance
• First experience in controlling, or significant apprenticeship experience in controlling preferably in industrial environment
• Computer literate and good knowledge of IT systems
• Solid accounting knowledge
• Strong teamwork
• Good communication skills
• A business partner mindset (ability to support operational teams and influence decisions)
• Curiosity and willingness to learn
• Interest in understanding manufacturing and operational processes
• Fluent in English
