About this job
The Private Client Associate plays a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and supporting day‑to‑day branch operations through basic banking services. This role serves as the primary point of contact for customers, building strong relationships through professional, attentive interactions while accurately processing financial transactions. The PCA is responsible for understanding customer needs, providing clear and reliable information, and proactively identifying opportunities to connect customers with products and services that support their financial goals.
Asa Private Client Associate you will:
- Uphold the bank’s boutique, business‑professional culture by engaging with clients in a polished, courteous, and attentive manner, ensuring a refined customer experience that aligns with our high‑end service expectations.
- Provide exceptional customer service.
- Actively listen to customer needs and inquiries, providing clear, concise, and accurate information.
- Proactively identify opportunities to cross‑sell or refer appropriate banking products and services.
- Address basic customer concerns and resolve minor issues independently, escalating complex situations to a manager when necessary.
- Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor in all interactions, ensuring a positive customer experience.
- Efficiently and accurately process a wide range of financial transactions.
- Assist with branch opening and closing procedures including securing cash and official documents.
- Onboard deposit accounts.
- Manage and balance a cash drawer with precision, adhering to all cash handling policies and procedures.
- Adhere strictly to all bank policies, procedures, and federal/state banking regulations (e.g., BSA/AML privacy laws, Regulation CC).

Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, verbal and written, with the ability to clearly articulate information.
- A strong customer‑focused attitude and a genuine desire to assist others.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- High level of integrity, trustworthiness, and discretion with sensitive information.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including some Saturdays, as required by branch operations.
- Basic computer proficiency, including comfort with Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn new banking software.
- Basic understanding of financial concepts and personal banking.
- Experience with Jack Henry core processor (Silverlake, Synergy, 4
Sight, Xperience, and Onboard).
