Regulatory Compliance Specialist, Financial Compliance
Location: Chesterfield, Missouri (US‑MO), United States (US)
A Day In The LifeSupport the Global Derivatives Compliance Managers in maintaining and enhancing Bunge's global derivatives compliance & market conduct program. This role assists with regulatory advisory, coordinates critical exchange/clearing compliance activities, and contributes to market surveillance efforts across all international regulatory regimes, ensuring adherence to global best practices and regulatory requirements.
What You'll Be Doing- Support derivatives compliance advisory, ensuring robust adherence to global regimes
- Assist in researching and interpreting evolving global regulations, advise on complex documentation/trading agreements, and support communication with global traders, exchanges, and regulators
- Support oversight of exchange-traded derivatives and clearing operations, gaining understanding of CFTC, EU NCAs and exchange rules
- Coordinate compliance activities across major global exchanges (e.g., CME, ICE, Matif Euronext, EEX, key Asian exchanges), including rule interpretations
- Manage position limits and aggregation rules and contribute to the hedge exemption applications to regulators or exchanges
- Design and conduct daily trade surveillance and report potential prohibited practices to the derivatives and market conduct compliance managers
- Ensure continuous adherence to global laws/exchange rules, adapting the program based on monitoring global regulatory actions and legislative changes
- Develop and deliver comprehensive global compliance training for traders and personnel
- Lead and execute compliance efficiency projects, including the identification, evaluation, and implementation of innovative technologies to streamline processes and optimize operational workflows
- Maintain/enhance global compliance databases, record-keeping, and regulatory filings; supervise all trade repository reporting
- Oversee compliance analytics and deliver insightful periodic reports to management
- +5 years of experience in compliance within a commodity firm, exchange, global financial institution or regulatory agency or equivalent experience
- Solid knowledge of global derivatives regulations, including EMIR, FMIA, MAS, specific CFTC rules
- Knowledge of the rules, structures, and operations of major global derivatives exchanges and clearing organizations
- University degree in Law, Finance, Business, or a related field
- Strong communication skills (oral and written)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to work collaboratively in a fast-paced global environment
- Fluent in English, multi-lingual a plus
- Demonstrated proficiency with data analytics and visualization tools, experience with compliance tools, familiarity with PowerBI and interest in Generative AI is a plus

The compensation range for this position is $ - $. In addition to the regular compensation, this role is also eligible for an annual incentive bonus.
