Loan Operations Unit Manager

Our client is seeking an experienced Loan Operations Unit Manager to lead a team responsible for the servicing and operational support of the Bank's loan portfolio. This role will oversee daily loan operations, ensure regulatory compliance, drive process improvements, and manage operational risk while delivering exceptional service to internal and external customers.

• Manage and develop Loan Operations staff, including hiring, coaching, performance management, and training.
• Oversee loan servicing functions including escrow administration and analysis, payment processing, payoffs, investor reporting, insurance and tax monitoring, collateral management, and quality control.
• Ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations, investor requirements, and internal policies.
• Lead responses to audits, examinations, and compliance reviews, including corrective action planning.
• Monitor operational performance, productivity metrics, and service level agreements.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, accuracy, and risk controls.
• Collaborate with Treasury, Accounting, Compliance, Credit, and other business units to support operational objectives.
• Prepare and present operational reports and management metrics.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
• 7+ years of loan servicing, loan administration, or loan operations experience.
• 5+ years of management experience within a banking, lending, or financial services environment.
• Strong knowledge of loan servicing regulations, compliance requirements, and operational best practices.
• Experience with escrow analysis and administration required.
• Proven leadership, problem-solving, and project management abilities.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required.
• Experience with FIS, Black Knight, Synergy, or similar loan servicing systems preferred.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $95000.00 - $128000.00/yr.
