VP, Health & Wellness Finance – FP&A

• Provide financial leadership for Synchrony’s Health & Wellness sales platform
• Lead financial planning, analysis and reporting processes
• Lead the platform’s strategic vision and investment initiatives
• Engage with Health & Wellness market teams to understand business and portfolio dynamics and communicate performance
• Lead financial performance analysis and recommend actions to improve performance
• Partner with cross-functional leadership to maximize growth, optimize profitability and manage risk trade-offs
• Partner with platform leadership to develop and execute business strategy
• Lead annual Operating Plan, Short Range Forecast, Strategic Planning, ongoing forecasting and analysis
• Manage the team and indirect COE resources executing forecasting, portfolio support and reporting
• Interpret key contractual terms and ensure forecasts and plans reflect changes
• Support strategic initiatives and ensure timely implementation and reporting of costs and benefits
• Lead periodic NI Review processes with Health & Wellness leadership
• Support quarterly external earnings and reporting processes
• Lead profitability optimization efforts
• Provide ad hoc analysis
• Support second- and third-line reviews
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field and a minimum of 7 years of FP&A experience (financial modeling, budget, forecast, data analysis), or in lieu of degree, 10 years of FP&A experience
• Minimum of 3 years of experience working in a finance role for a Consumer Finance organization
• Must be 18 years or older
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
• Must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of onboarding
• Must satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. required
• No employment visa sponsorship available
• Credit Card portfolio acquisition and/or investment evaluation experience
• Experience collaborating on cross-functional teams and leading projects/initiatives
• Experience leading discussions with Executive Leadership team
• Experience leading a team including direct reports
• Strength in complex financial modeling and large data sets
• In-depth knowledge of Synchrony products
• Strong leadership skills and proven results driving change across all levels of the organization
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Process management skills
• Prior experience and responsibility for critical decisions
• Use of Oracle / Hyperion Systems and databases
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook

Demonstrates strong financial leadership with extensive experience in financial planning and analysis, strategic vision development, and profitability optimization. Proficient in complex financial modeling and data analysis, with a focus on driving performance improvements and managing cross-functional collaboration.
