Client Base: ~425 Wealth Management Clients plus 5 Multi-Family Office Relationships
Position Overview:
Brand Asset Management Group is seeking an experienced, strategic, and entrepreneurial Chief Investment Officer (CIO) to lead the firm’s investment platform and help shape the next phase of growth across both our wealth management and multi-family office businesses.
The CIO will serve as the firm’s senior investment leader, responsible for investment strategy, portfolio construction, manager selection, due diligence, capital markets research, portfolio implementation, and investment communication. Initially, the CIO will operate as a highly hands-on individual contributor, assuming responsibility for the day-to-day management of the investment function.
As the firm continues to grow, the CIO will be responsible for designing, building, and leading a scalable investment organization that includes portfolio design and asset allocation research, public- and private-market research, manager due diligence, trading, and investment operations support.
In addition to overseeing investment strategy for approximately $1.5 billion in client assets, the CIO will play a key role in supporting and expanding the firm’s multi-family office offering. The firm is currently serving highly affluent families through a comprehensive family office platform and is actively pursuing growth in this area. As a result, the CIO will have increasing responsibility for sourcing, evaluating, implementing, and monitoring private market investments and customized investment solutions designed for sophisticated investors and multi-generational family wealth.
This role is ideal for an investment professional who combines institutional-quality investment expertise with a builder’s mentality and a passion for creating a best-in-class investment platform.
