Relationship Officer, Commercial Banking

• Provide support for the designated Commercial Banking Relationship Team
• Facilitate service requests for an assigned book of commercial banking clients
• Coordinate setup, maintenance, and closure of deposit accounts
• Resolve client overdrafts and insufficient funds with Relationship Managers, Credit partners, and NSF team
• Partner with internal business partners, operations teams, clients, and third-party partners
• Resolve loan and fee payment delinquencies and direct resources to collect payments or clear delinquent status
• Respond to routine and complex client inquiries and resolve or refer them to appropriate support partners
• Submit and coordinate follow-up on DDA and general service requests
• Provide information for GRC testing and internal/external audits
• Support Key's compliance culture and act as a resource on deposit- and loan-related compliance matters
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Located in Michigan required;
  Southeast Michigan / Grand Rapids, MI highly preferred
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience (required)
• 1+ years previous experience with commercial banking support functions (required)
• Proficient in the setup, maintenance, and closure of commercial deposit accounts and resolution of loan-related servicing issues
• Ability to respond promptly and accurately to internal and external audit requests, including GRC testing and compliance reviews
• Experience managing routine and complex client inquiries and service requests end-to-end
• Ability to resolve loan and fee delinquencies and direct internal resources
• Knowledge of bank products and services, including referral/cross-sell opportunities
• Familiarity with treasury solutions such as cash management, liquidity services, and payment systems
• Working knowledge of process optimization methodologies
• Understanding and adherence to Bank Secrecy Act and Anti-Money Laundering program requirements
• Strong grasp of applicable federal, state, and banking compliance regulations
• Minimum two years of experience or equivalent understanding of commercial lending principles, products, and client needs
• Ability to occasionally operate a motor vehicle with a valid driver's license

Demonstrates expertise in commercial banking support functions, including account management, compliance adherence, and client relationship management. Proficient in resolving loan delinquencies and managing complex client inquiries while ensuring compliance with banking regulations.
