Senior Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis

• Lead development, forecasting, tracking, and analysis of KPIs driving Pay Pal’s Consumer business strategy
• Own financial planning and reporting for Monthly Active Accounts, Transactions Per Active, Average Revenue Per Active, and Gross New Actives
• Partner with Product, Commercial, Marketing, Analytics, Finance, and globally located cross-functional teams
• Build and retain a strong and effective team
• Oversee month-end close, reporting, forecasting, variance analysis, and operating expense and Contra reporting
• Drive continuous process improvements within the team and business
• Provide timely analysis and recommendations to leadership groups
• Ensure adherence to corporate policies and GAAP regulations
• Partner with leadership on project risk awareness
• Develop insights that provide finance senior leadership visibility into risk areas
• Identify opportunities for improvement with finance and technology partners
• Prepare and present results and forecasts to senior leaders
• Track and re-trend results against forecasts and budgets

• 8+ years relevant experience
• A Bachelor’s degree OR any equivalent combination of education and experience
• Expert proficiency in Excel, including advanced modeling, pivot tables, and Power Query
• Proficiency in SQL
• Proficiency in BI tools such as Looker, Tableau, and Power BI
• Strong understanding of revenue recognition, unit economics, statistical forecasting, and financial statement analysis
• Strategic thinking and business acumen with ability to connect metrics to strategy and influence senior leadership
• Exceptional communication skills and experience presenting complex financial analyses to senior-level executives
• Proven success managing competing priorities and building partnerships in matrixed organizations
• Experience with enterprise planning systems such as Essbase and SAP is a plus
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP and Oracle is a plus

Demonstrates expertise in financial planning, analysis, and reporting, with a strong focus on KPIs and strategic insights. Proficient in advanced Excel modeling, SQL, and BI tools to drive data-driven decision-making and influence senior leadership.
