Finance Manager

• Coordinate and execute all daily activities of the Accounting Department
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting of the Company's financial results
• Report directly to the Vice President of Finance of the Door Group
• Work with business leadership to drive financial results and optimize business performance
• Serve as a trusted business partner and provide sound opinions and decision-making
• Manage production of budgets, forecasts, and operating metrics
• Review the monthly accounting close process and monthly operating results
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations
• Review operations from balance sheet, income statement, cash flow, and overall business perspectives
• Provide financial analyses for capital investments, pricing, cost reduction, and conversion productivity
• Implement, document, and maintain internal controls and processes to improve close and reporting cycles
• Expand use of the BI system and other software to drive business performance
• Maintain a safe and harmonious working environment and uphold ASSA ABLOY standards
• Ensure compliance with federal, provincial, local, and corporate policies, AADG programs and policies, and the ASSA ABLOY Code of Conduct
• Complete additional projects and assignments as required

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Business, Economics required
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive accounting experience in the manufacturing industry
• Previous experience working with data analysis software;
  Business Objects experience is a plus
• Knowledge of IFRS and financial statement presentation
• Experience with multiple ERP systems preferred; JD Edwards and Hyperion are an asset
• Strong team player who can effectively interact with and motivate other team members, including peers
• Ability to set and meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities under tight time deadlines
• Ability to work and manage in a matrix organization
• High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results oriented
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications, especially Excel, Word, and Power Point
• Highly proficient in Excel, including template creation and completion, Pivot tables, SUMIFS/VLOOKUPS with complex criteria, macros, and filters
• Excellent communication and time management skills in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment
• MBA or CMA/CPA preferred

Demonstrates expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance within the manufacturing industry, leveraging advanced Excel skills and data analysis software to drive business performance and optimize financial results.
