Relationship Manager​/Universal Banker

• The Relationship Manager/Universal Banker provides a high level of customer service by assisting customers with a variety of banking needs including opening and maintaining deposit accounts, processing transactions and educating customers about bank products and services. There is a heavy emphasis on community involvement and business development, including growing customer deposit base.

Location: Local Branch Office in Warrenton or Montgomery City

• Prospect new businesses and customers in the community to grow the bank's core deposit base
• Seek to understand the needs of customers and align/implement the bank’s various products and services
• Attend local networking events
• Manage a dedicated portfolio of local business and retail banking customers.
• Serve as the main point of contact for customer inquiries and everyday financial needs.
• Schedule regular check-ins to review customer satisfaction and retention.
• Identify cross-selling opportunities for deposit accounts, treasury services, and mobile banking solutions.

• Open and maintain deposit accounts
• Assist customers with account related questions and services
• Take referrals from tellers, and other lines of business
• Provide customer service and process routine financial transactions in the branch
• Ensure all account opening and deposit activities adhere to federal and state banking regulations.

• Identify clients with borrowing needs during routine discussions.
• Refer loan prospects directly to the internal commercial or mortgage lenders.

• Experience: 2 to 4 years of experience in retail banking, customer service, or account management preferred.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or equivalent banking experience preferred.
• Communication: Ability to utilize networking skills to build strong relationships and connections within the community.
