Job Description & How to Apply Below
- We are seeking large company FOR-PROFIT / Corporate Finance / FP&A Experience.

A large, mission-driven organization is seeking a Finance Director to report directly to the CFO and serve as a key finance partner across the organization.
This is a high-visibility role within a complex, well-established organization with significant scale, a broad operating footprint, and multiple funding streams. The Finance Director will help lead budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, funding-related financial analysis, and executive-level reporting while partnering closely with operational and administrative leaders.
The Finance Director will be focused on forward-looking finance, financial management, operational partnership, and helping leadership make better decisions through data, analysis, and stronger financial discipline.
Key Responsibilities- Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning processes
- Partner with the CFO and senior leadership on financial strategy, planning, and performance management
- Develop reporting and analysis that provides visibility into financial performance across programs, departments, and funding streams
- Support budgeting, tracking, analysis, and reporting for restricted and program-specific funding
- Analyze budget-to-actual results, identify trends, and communicate key insights to leadership
- Improve financial processes, reporting tools, planning models, and management dashboards
- Partner cross-functionally with operational leaders to support resource allocation, scenario planning, and decision-making
- Support board, executive, and external stakeholder reporting as needed
- Help strengthen financial discipline, accountability, and communication across a large, complex organization
- Lead, mentor, and develop members of the finance team
- Strong finance leadership experience within a large, complex organization
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and management reporting
- Ability to partner effectively with executive leadership, operational leaders, and accounting teams
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate financial data into clear recommendations
- Experience supporting organizations with multiple programs, departments, entities, or funding streams
- Hands-on enough to build models and improve processes, but senior enough to influence strategy and leadership decisions
- Strong communication skills and ability to present financial information to non-finance stakeholders
- Report directly to the CFO
- Serve as a strategic finance partner, not a reporting function
- Opportunity to improve planning, analytics, and financial decision-making across the organization
